Sameer Zuberi – Member of Parliament for Pierrefonds–Dollard
Sameer Zuberi is the Member of Parliament for Pierrefonds–Dollard in the West Island of Montreal, proudly serving residents of Pierrefonds, Dollard‑des‑Ormeaux (DDO), and surrounding communities. Since his election, he has been a strong advocate for affordable housing, immigration reform, and community development.
With a background in community organizing and public policy, Sameer brings a wealth of experience to Parliament. He works tirelessly to ensure that the concerns of his constituents are heard at the national level.
Whether it’s helping families navigate government services or championing important legislation, Sameer remains committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those he serves.

A champion for a better future in Pierrefonds–Dollard
Sameer was born and raised in Montreal. His mother is from Brockville, Ontario and his father immigrated to Canada from Pakistan in the 70s. Having grown up in a multiracial family, Sameer has worked tirelessly to build bridges between communities and promote mutual understanding. He has been at the forefront of promoting diversity and inclusion, and protecting Charter values. Prior to this election to the House of Commons, Sameer worked to promote diversity at McGill. While there, he helped support the entry of Black students, Indigenous learners, and students from lower-socioeconomic backgrounds.
